Personages can be obtained for completion of certain story missions and in battles. Each character has 5 slots for artifacts – these are used for customization purposes. For every 10 prayers, you will get a new hero or weapon. Characters can be obtained for special activities such as the Abyss and in the Prayer tab, for special prayer items.
However, over time, you will want to get new ones – currently there are over 30 of them in Genshin Impact. You will initially have only a basic set of heroes, issued you progress in the game. But you cannot get any personage you like so easily. The player can constantly switch between them all. You can make a squad that consists of four heroes. Daily tasks are designed to bring you more points and resources – there are usually created in the form of mini-games.
World quests are the most exciting ones as they will reveal a new story every time. Archon tasks will allow you to open the next parts of the game, legend challenges will be issued specifically for a particular character. There are four types of quests you need to complete.

Soon, you will open up new challenges that reveal the story, and new characters – all these make up a fantastic plot and you are a part of it! You will meet a lot of dangerous enemies and need to solve tricky puzzles. Start completing the tasks and explore different locations. At some point, one of them is kidnapped, and you will find yourself in the kingdom of Teyvat where you will start your adventure. At the very beginning, you will meet two twins who fight with the goddess of time. Enter the mysterious anime world full of magic landscapes that you will need to explore.
